About Tamar Accessibility

Tamar Accessibility was founded nearly 20 years ago by the late Tamar Lubelski.

Today it is led by Omer Lubelski, an IAAP-credentialed expert in built-environment accessibility (International Association of Accessibility Professionals).

The firm is one of the pioneers and leaders in Israel's accessibility field, making new and existing buildings and businesses accessible to advance inclusive infrastructure, environments, and services for the Israeli public.

Tamar Lubelski, of blessed memory

1957–2022

A brave, gracious and loving woman. She is survived by two children and six grandchildren.

Tamar was one of the pioneers of accessibility for people with disabilities in Israel. Her sensitivity drew her to the field out of a belief that every person has the right to take an active part in every circle of life, regardless of ability or disability.

She was a central force in the 1998 Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law, as well as its regulations and standards.

Tamar was an accessibility consultant for the largest and most complex buildings in Israel, and advised the country's largest organizations to ensure accessible service in an inclusive environment.

Tamar began her journey at Access Israel, and in 2004 opened an independent accessibility consultancy — today led by her son, Omer Lubelski, a licensed consultant for the accessibility of buildings, infrastructure and environment, holding international certifications in the field.
